Summer Bishil is an American actress best known for her performance as Margo Hanson on the Syfy the fantasy-based drama The Magicians (2015-present). The actress gained recognition because of her performance as a character in Towelhead as Jasira Marroun, an American-Lebanese girl aged 13 who's thrown into turmoil by the U.S. military invasion of Iraq. Her subsequent selection as one The Top 10 actresses in the world by Variety for 2007 was also an impressive honor. She portrayed another character of great power Taslima Jahangir in the 2009 crime drama film Crossing Over for which she was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female lead category.
